Yokohama
Yokohama, a cosmopolitan port city just south of Tokyo, was one of the first ports in Japan to open to the world and remains a vibrant hub for international exchange. Despite being Japan’s second most populous city, you wouldn’t know it while strolling through the spacious oceanfront streets of the futuristic Minato Mirai district. The city isn’t all modern though—you can still find traditional charm in the bustling izakayas of Noge Alley or explore the culinary scene at one of Asia’s largest Chinatowns.
Location
Yokohama is ideally situated, offering easy and quick access to central Tokyo and Haneda Airport, both reachable in less than 30 minutes. At the heart of the walkable downtown area is Yokohama’s flagship convention center, PACIFICO Yokohama, a pioneering green facility with a 90% recycling rate and innovative circular energy initiatives. With over 8,000 hotel rooms, more than 800 restaurants, and popular tourist attractions like the historic Red Brick Warehouse all within walking distance of PACIFICO, you can enjoy everything Yokohama has to offer—all just minutes from your conference.
